The Sacrament of Reconciliation is a healing remedy for our sins, presented to God in the presence of the priest. Although serious matters should be brought before the priest when available, our lesser sins are healed through the celebration of Mass or with sincere contrition & good works.

-
Fr. Derek will provide the (appropriately socially distant) Sacrament of Penance & Reconciliation by appointment,
or as requested anytime by the homebound, the sick & the dying.

Please contact the Pastoral Area Office for all appointments, emergencies, & special needs (01 8354138 / 087 1911902).
PARISH FINANCIAL CONTRIBUTIONS
We are aware that these are very difficult and worrying times for all of us. Our Parish income has suffered as a result of the imposed restrictions due to the Coronavirus. If you are able to offer some regular financial support, via Standing Order, we would be most grateful.
Those who very kindly contribute to the Family Offering via the parish envelopes may wish to continue using the envelopes by collecting them at home and bringing them back to the parish when it is safe to do so. Alternatively, you may wish to consider replacing your envelope donation to contribute with a standing order.
Standing Order Forms can be downloaded and returned to the Pastoral Area Office. Many thanks.
IMPORTANT Garda Vetting Announcement
If you have recently completed a Garda vetting form but have not received or replied to an email from the National Vetting Bureau, please contact the Pastoral Area Office. (The email may have found its way into your Junk or Spam box) It is vitally important that the Vetting process is completed as soon as possible. Please let us know if you need any help with this.

First Holy Communions 2021
Many congratulations to all the children in Garristown, Ballyboughal and Naul who received their First Holy Communion during September 2021. After a long and patient wait, we were finally able to gather and celebrate this important step on their faith journey. All the children looked wonderful and we hope that it will be a moment for them to remember and treasure for ever.

This year we were able to livestream some of the ceremonies on our Facebook page. If you click on the picture it will take you to the relevant video (if the Mass was livestreamed.)

We pray that they will continue to be nourished by this special Sacrament
and will continue to grow, as members of our parish communities, as the Body of Christ.
